Personal Banker - Small Business Specialist - Westlake, OH-090056912 The Personal Banker - Small Business Specialist (SBS) is the primary Business professional for the branch. The SBS will acquire, and deepen both Consumer and Business relationships by pro-actively setting appointments with customers, profiling to discover needs, making the best recommendations, closing the business and following up on all new Business accounts. Focus is on the Business Premier clients that are assigned to the branch. The Personal Banker - Small Business Specialist will maximize the depth and profitability of the customer's relationship by partnering with sales specialists in Retail Lending, Investments and other product areas to ensure a world-class customer experience.
Qualifications: · Relationship management and prospecting skills (influencing, advisory, acquisition) · Sales processes including profiling, outbound telephone sales, consulting, networking, referring and appointment setting, identifying business and consumer opportunities in the branch · Working knowledge of Business and Consumer financial products
Skills: · Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. · Excellent probing and listening skills to uncover customer needs. · Ability to partner and influence · Strong presentation skills · Computer skills including navigational skills to research and retrieve information from various Intranet sites. · Strong planning, organizational and follow-up skills. Attention to detail to manage daily administrative tasks accurately and efficiently. Ability to: · Profile by asking personal and business financial questions, assessing customer needs, and recommending appropriate product and service solutions. · Effectively engage customers in the sales process. · Network and build effective relationships with customers and members of the community. · Work well in a team environment by partnering with other colleagues to meet customer needs and present seamless customer service. · Work with customers in person as well as via telephone. · Work Saturdays and some evenings required. Experience: · Previous Personal Banker experience preferred · Minimum two years sales experience required; 3 - 5 years preferred · Extensive customer contact and experience with ongoing customer relationships. · High school graduate or equivalent required. B.S. or B.A. degree preferred. · Sries 6, 63, and Life Insurance licenses required within 60 days of hire (also Health in some states).
